Colin Marcus, a PhD student in the Conformable Decoders research group, has been selected for the EECS MathWorks Fellowship. MathWorks is a developer of mathematical computing software including MATLAB and Simulink which are used by engineers, scientists, mathematicians, and researchers around the world.
Colin's research spans several fields, including physics, electrical engineering, signal processing, and optics. Currently he is focused on developing new ultrasound imaging technologies for use in breast cancer detection. The funding provided by MathWorks will allow him to further expand his efforts in this field.
