Congratulations to Signal Kinetics group head Fadel Adib, who has received a 2021 Alfred P. Sloan Research Fellowship in Computer Science. Adib is among eight MIT recipients of the fellowship from the prestigious Sloan Foundation, which includes awardees from the MIT departments in Mathematics, Chemical Engineering, Biology, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS), and Brain and Cognitive Sciences.  

"These 128 early-career scholars represent the most promising scientific researchers working today. Their achievements and potential place them among the next generation of scientific leaders in the US and Canada. Winners receive $75,000, which may be spent over a two-year term on any expense supportive of their research."
