This year's international joint ACM conference on Pervasive and Ubiquitous Computing (UbiComp) and International Symposium on Wearable Computing (ISWC) was held October 12–16 in Espoo, Finland.
FerroZuit, a project led by Cedric Honnet of the Responsive Environments group at the Media Lab, won the Best Design Exhibition award in the functional category—as part of the conference's Design Exhibition. The FerroZuit explores life in zero gravity, with magnetic cloths that dock users to provide a sense of gravity in space.
