Jessica Shand, a master's student in the Opera of the Future research group, was named to the inaugural class of the Steve Jobs Archive (SJA) Fellowship. The SJA Fellowship is a one-year, nonresidential program for young creators who are working at the intersection of technology and the liberal arts. Fellows are selected based on their wide-ranging curiosity, sense of possibility, and determination to leave the world better than they found it.
Laurene Powell Jobs announced the Steve Jobs Archive in 2022. It curates and shares material about the Apple and Pixar co-founder alongside programming that brings his sense of possibility to new generations. This is the first year of the fellowship.
