Pattie Maes

Pattie Maes, head of the Fluid Interfaces research group, is one of six researchers to be awarded an MIT Integrated Learning Initiative (MITili) grant for a project titled, "Evaluating the Effectiveness of AI-Generated Personalized Learning Content for Improving Engagement and Learning Outcomes."

Other researchers who earned grants include Professor Joshua Angrist of the MIT Department of Economics; Professor Eric Klopfer of MIT Comparative Media Studies/Writing; Professors Wiebke Denecke and Tristan Brown of the MIT School of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences; and Senior Lecturer Lori Breslow of the MIT Sloan School of Management.

This is MITili's fourth annual grant, which selected projects with a focus on the science of learning and ways to make learning more effective.
