Pattie Maes, head of the Fluid Interfaces research group, is one of six researchers to be awarded an MIT Integrated Learning Initiative (MITili) grant for her project titled, "Evaluating the Effectiveness of AI-Generated Personalized Learning Content for Improving Engagement and Learning Outcomes."

Other researchers who earned a grant include Professor Joshua Angrist of the MIT Department of Economics; Professor Eric Klopfer of MIT Comparative Media Studies/Writing; Professors Wiebke Denecke and Tristan Brown of the MIT School of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences; and Senior Lecturer Lori Breslow of the MIT Sloan School of Management.

This is MITili's fourth annual grant, which selected projects with a focus on the science of learning and ways to make learning more effective.
