PhD student Pedro Reynolds-Cuellar was named as a recipient of a 2020 Unsung Hero Award from the Office of Graduate Education. The Unsung Hero Award is presented to an undergraduate and graduate student from the MIT community who have demonstrated that leadership isn’t always defined by title and position. It goes to members of the community who have shown commitment and passion for the community regardless of leadership position and shown a willingness to support efforts of diversity and inclusion. Unsung Heroes are students who are assets to the community.
