Tara Boroushaki, a PhD student in the Signal Kinetics group, is a recipient of a 2024 Paul Baran Young Scholar Award. Boroushaki's research focuses on sensing and mobile technologies with applications in wireless networking, cyber-physical systems (including robotics), and human-computer interaction (HCI). This award recognizes and celebrates innovative research conducted by young scientists and engineers.

The 2024 Young Scholars will be honored at the Marconi Awards Gala, held on October 26, 2024, at Palazzo Re Enzo in Bologna, Italy.

The Marconi Society, named after Nobel Prize winner Guglielmo Marconi, is a nonprofit organization that aims to celebrate and support visionaries building tomorrow’s technologies.
