We are developing technologies and community methodologies in electronic commerce for social and economic development. We study e-commerce technologies and systems software that are appropriate and appropriable by the majority of the world. Research and development activities integrate with activist field projects that are community-centered. We are keenly interested in first-class technologies that are cost-appropriate for people who make less than two dollars a day.
