DNA Canvas is a new platform for assembling nanoscale components using DNA as a programmable interface. By bridging top-down nanofabrication with molecular self-assembly, it enables the precise placement of proteins, biosensors, quantum dots, carbon nanotubes, and other components in ways that are difficult or impossible with conventional photolithography. With pixel spacings as small as 3–20 nm and more than one million uniquely addressable positions, DNA Canvas could enable new possibilities in personalized genomics assays, nanophotonic devices, bioimaging, and beyond.
