Everyone in the city is an expert on their own experience of that city. So how might we integrate new forms of citizen input into the planning and transformation of public spaces around Mexico City, using both digital and non-digital strategies? EncuestaCDMX is a civic technology platform developed with the Laboratorio para la Ciudad that combines in-person surveys and responses from a version of the Action Path location-based survey app to inform city planning decisions. The survey responses power a real-time public dashboard of the feedback available to both city planners and residents for accountability.
