Nuclear magnetic resonance can be used to manipulate and to control simple molecules and compex biomolecules. We have demonstrated the use of one molecule as a seven quantum bit quantum computer. In an additional joint project with Joseph Jacobson's Molecular Machines group, we demonstrate control over biomolecules to cause them to selectively heat up and undergo chemical changes by building antennas into them.
