Our work here explores a new way of visualizing information through what the team calls Chronicles—adaptive data graphs that evolve with each user. These visual structures act as filters, allowing individuals to see the world through another person’s lens. Each Chronicle represents a living model that learns from its user, with permission, refining its structure over time as interactions accumulate.

Our Neuro-symbolic graph is composed of interconnected nodes and lines. Each node represents a data point or interaction, forming a personalized digital structure that evolves over time. The visuals below highlight how Chronicles allow users to view the world through another individual’s lens, turning abstract data into a meaningful, human-centered narrative.

Compare  Chronicle systems and today’s large language models. Where LLMs operate by encapsulating vast amounts of data and generating responses from that collective corpus, Chronicles focus on personalization and scale. They learn contextually from each person rather than drawing on pre-packaged datasets, allowing for more ethical and adaptable forms of intelligence.

This also touches on the broader evolution of contextual AI. The  Agent AI—an idea now several years old—lives within a continuum has led to new forms of scalable intelligence. The challenge, lies not in the algorithms themselves but in the software engineering paradigms required to support models that differ for every individual. Chronicles are a step forward, designed to manage thousands of personalized systems simultaneously without sacrificing privacy or performance.
