Most modern electronic musical instruments are constructed of artifacts from the military-industrial complex. As their components become obsolete, musicians must invent new technologies for synthesizing electronic music. Using naturally occurring materials, this design will survive on Earth for at least 3 million years�because it does not require expensive, intricate manufacturing processes.
