Description:
"You just need to show more empathy!” Few would disagree with the advice. Yet, it is easier said than done. Project Us uses AI to analyze interlocutors’ signals during interactions and creates a continuous feedback loop with their emotional content. Easy to use, and easily scalable, the tool can help millions of people become more empathetic, increase their wellbeing and save time and money on clinical care.

During this workshop, researchers from the Fluid Interfaces group at the MIT Media Lab will share the progress of their research on using AI to help people enhance their communication skills and empathy. They will be discussing opportunities on applying this technology for intercultural communication, leadership training and mental health.
