Recent efforts in the Opera of the Future group have sought to establish that rich experiences, such as music, can be constructed in a way to target brain areas of interest. The result is the first auditory-based diagnostic tool for Alzheimer's disease. It is mobile, and incorporates increasingly creative applications that enable users to manage their cognitive health through musical activities. This workshop, based on our recent clinical trials at Harvard Medical School, will help participants develop skills in how to base out-of-the-box applications and prototypes around cognitive principles.
