Human Dynamics

The Human Dynamics group is leading the creation of computational social science, an emerging field that leverages the capacity to collect and analyze sensor data about people at an unprecedented scale and granularity (Science, v. 323, Feb 6, 2009).

By using data from mobile phones, electronic ID badges, or digital media to track these honest signals, we can create a "god's eye" view of how the people interact, and even "see" the rhythms of interaction for everyone in a city.
