Donggyu Lee

Dong-Gyu Lee is a postdoctoral associate at the MIT Media Lab. He received his B.S. and Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from Korea University.

His doctoral research focused on crystallographically textured piezoelectric ceramics and their applications. His expertise spans materials synthesis, device fabrication, and system integration, combining piezoelectric devices with custom circuits and AI-based analysis.

In the Conformable Decoders group, he develops wearable ultrasound systems for biomedical imaging and neuromodulation. His broader goal is to create conformable, bio-integrated platforms for everyday healthcare.
