Daniel Visan Levine

Graduate Student
  • Biomechatronics

Daniel Visan Levine imagines a world where our interactions with technology are handled as if between friendly creatures; one in which we mutually respect all kinds of matter. He aims to create imaginative technologies for meaningful impact and enjoys helping people experience life through unconventional perspectives.

His past work primarily spans the domains of applied synthetic biology, biomimetic actuation, rehabilitative exoskeletons, and tongue-based interaction design. He holds bachelors degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science from Cornell University, and a masters degree from Cornell Tech’s Connective Media program in New York City.

Daniel goes by “Dan” in the Northeast, “Dani” in the Middle East, and “Daniel” in his hometown of Decatur, Georgia (Southeast). He loves gymnastics, watermelon, and airplanes.
