Mina is finishing her master's degree in Media Arts & Sciences at the Laboratory for Social Machines, where she applies machine learning and data visualization techniques to understand human behavior in digital games for literacy learning.
She has a master's degree in Interactive Arts and Technology (IAT) focusing on building tools to facilitate thinking and data exploration through visualizations. Mina is particularly interested in human-curated data, such as news and conversations in forums, etc. She has a BSc in Information Technology with a focus on distributed pattern recognition systems for network security.
