Tim is the OpenAg Initiative's Rapid Prototype Assistant, where he combines his skills in hardware design, machine shop fabrication, and biology research to outfit his team’s cutting-edge Food Computer platforms. Bringing a near-decade of experimental engineering experience from Harvard University and Woods Hole, MA, Tim has designed one-off field biology instrumentation and robotic camera systems for the production of internationally published research and photography. He is currently working on technology to make food production more data-rich, interactive, and open. A multimedia creative, Tim is also a mainstay in Boston’s stand-up comedy scene, independent music recording artist, and pro photographer. His burgeoning interests include brand design, Javascript, and dogs.
