Tim Savas designs and implements open-sourced hardware solutions across desktop-to-warehouse Food Computer scales for the Open Agriculture Initiative (OpenAg). With expertise in rapid prototyping and environmental science research, Tim creates hardware to interface with and measure biological organisms. He has previously designed and operated custom biology research instrumentation for laboratories in Woods Hole, Massachusetts and at Harvard University, where his projects went on to produce internationally published research and digital photography. Dogs are Tim’s world.
