Portfolio Requirements

Some research groups require the submission of a portfolio of relevant work, and most other groups will accept such portfolios for consideration. Consult the applicant information webpages of the groups you are applying to for specific requirements.

Include URLs for any additional materials at the end of the "Statement of Objectives" portion of the online application. Electronic portfolio submissions are required. Other formats will not be accepted.

  • Accepted formats: URL or PDF
  • Do not submit portfolio directly to faculty member(s)
  • Include portfolio URL at the end of the "Statement of Objectives" section of the online MIT application
  • The portfolio should include any relevant work of yours that you would like to showcase to our faculty
