Manuel Cherep of the Fluid Interfaces group accepted a Best Poster Award at the inaugural MIT Generative AI Impact Consortium Symposium for the project "Understanding How LLM Agents Deviate from Human Choices" (developed in collaboration with Professor Pattie Maes and alum Nikhil Singh).
The Symposium encouraged MIT students and postdocs to submit a research abstract on generative AI and/or its applications. The abstracts were reviewed and ~50 students were invited to present a poster at the Symposium, and meet with industry members and members of the MIT community. At the event, attendees voted for the best posters, which each received a prize.
The Symposium highlighted MIT’s role in shaping the generative AI landscape through interdisciplinary collaborations and industry engagement.
