Alaa Algargoosh, a research affiliate of the Tangible Media group, has been awarded the 2025 Mauro Pierucci Prize to Promote Research collaboration between Acoustical Engineering Programs in Academia by the Acoustical Society of America. 

Established in 2024 through a generous gift from Mauro Pierucci, the prize supports the growth of acoustical engineering research and fosters collaboration between acoustical engineering programs in the US and Canada. Algargoosh’s work exemplifies the prize’s mission to strengthen research networks and promote innovation in the field.
