The City Science Summit is an annual gathering of the City Science Network and other thought leaders in the fields of urban science, planning, computer science, policy and decision making, social sciences and rapid urbanization. We share research, present new projects and discuss our vision to create more livable, equitable and resilient communities. The summit consists of main stage presentations, breakout sessions, workshops, and demos.
Our fourth annual summit is hosted by our collaborators at the University of Guadalajara and will focus on strategies for a future without top down and increasingly obsolete urban systems and with lightweight, distributed, autonomous systems. Sub themes include: urban design, places of living, places of work, data networks, economies, education and health. Main stage presentations will be held on the 7th with workshops presented by our City Science Network on the 8th and 9th.
Our main stage event is on October 7th at 1pm EST.
