The Faculty of Engineering of the Universidad del Pacífico has promoted, from its origins, various initiatives to improve the quality of urban life in Peru. In this forum we will have the participation of the architect and scientist Luis Alonso, coordinator of Andorra Project at the CityScience Group of MIT, who will present the projects that are being developed around the world to rethink life in the cities. One characteristic of these initiatives is the interdisciplinary development, that is why Luis Alburquerque, Director of the Institute of Language, Literature and Anthropology of the CSIC will tell us about the importance of descriptions of travelers about cities. We will present some of the projects developed in our university thanks to the exchange with the ActuaTech Foundation of Andorra and our university. We will be accompanied by the Director of the ActuaTech Foundation, Marc Pons and the project coordinator of that institution, Guillem Francisco.
