Join us for a workshop around the car experience of the future. We'll discuss and brainstorm how sensing, AI, and interventions (haptics, light, music, stimulation, etc.) will optimize the car experience of the future for drivers and passengers, and enable new experiences and services.

We will also brainstorm more broadly about what people will do in cars when the cars drive themselves.

We will start with presentations by some of the ML researchers present (list below) as well as by the member companies represented. These would be 4-5 minutes max per researcher/member company. The second hour will consist of a brainstorm around what people will do in cars when they drive themselves and what technologies can enable these new services and experiences.

ML researchers who will be presenting:

Pattie Maes - Professor, Fluid Interfaces
David Ramsey - PhD student, Responsive Environments
Neska el Haouij - postdoc, Affective Computing
Kyung Yun Choi - PhD student, Tangible Media
Abhi Jain - PhD student, Fluid Interfaces
Nataliya Kosmyna -postdoc, Fluid Interfaces
Camilo Rojas - postdoc, Fluid Interfaces
Karsten Schuhl - Research Assistant, Opera of the Future
