Hi! I'm a grad student in the Lifelong Kindergarten group.

I am currently developing a creative design tool for educators and exploring strategies for documenting project-based learning experiences. I'm also thinking about how cultures for creative learning spread across education systems, within organizations, and across communities.

My work prior to MIT has taken me from higher education reform in Egypt during the Arab Spring to helping launch the African Leadership University—a pan African network of universities and accelerators in Mauritius, Rwanda, Kenya, and South Africa.

Outside of my research, I mentor startups through MIT's Sandbox Innovation Fund,  collaborate with the South End Tech Center (a community maker space founded by Mel King and the first Fab Lab outside of MIT), and can be found tinkering with new chai recipes.
