Ainhoa Genua Cerviño
She is a Visiting Student and Research Assistant at the MIT Media Lab City Science research group. She graduated as a Mechanical Engineer in May 2020 and Industrial Technologies Engineer in July 2021 from Tecnun, University of Navarra, Spain. Since then, she has been pursuing her master’s degree in Industrial Engineering at her home university. Currently, she is researching at MIT City Science as part of her master final thesis project .
At City Science, Ainhoa has been working in the Mobility On-Demand research line. Building on top of the previous work done by the group regarding shared, on-demand, lightweight, autonomous vehicles, she is exploring new functions that can be added to them. In particular, she is analyzing how these vehicles would perform if they were used for food deliveries.
Ainhoa has also taken part in other group project such as the Climate Model and the City Science Summit 2022.
