Challenging algorithms

Reclaiming our power to choose

As algorithmic systems quietly shape information, opportunity, and behavior, how do we preserve human agency?

Together, we'll examine theories of algorithmic auditing, transparency, and accountable AI—considering how opaque systems influence decisions and how they can be redesigned to restore visibility, contestability, and meaningful human control in the digital infrastructures that increasingly structure everyday life.

Join us this spring for three days of exploration, experimentation, and connection at the Spring Member Event 2026. Through interactive sessions, open lab experiences, and collaborative discussions, members gain exclusive access to research in motion.
