Naroa Coretti Sánchez
Naroa Coretti's research is focused on designing future mobility modes and understanding their impacts through modeling and simulations. Her work aims to make future cities more walkable and human-centric by incentivizing increased use of active mobility modes. Her current research studies the effects of introducing autonomy on shared micro-mobility systems from the perspectives of vehicle design, fleet-level performance, and environmental impacts.
Coretti holds a PhD from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and a BSc in Mechanical Engineering and an MSc in Industrial Technologies from the University of Navarre. Her work has been featured in international media, including the BBC, MarketWatch, and Canal+, and she has been recognized as one of Forbes' 30 Under 30 and MIT Technology Review’s Innovators Under 35 Europe. Her research has also been exhibited at the Museum of Science in Boston and the Guggenheim in Bilbao.
