Naroa Coretti Sánchez
Naroa Coretti's research is focused on designing future mobility modes and understanding their impacts through modeling and simulations. Her work aims to make future cities more walkable and human-centric by incentivizing increased use of active mobility modes. Her current research studies the effects of introducing autonomy on shared micro-mobility systems from the perspectives of vehicle design, fleet-level performance, and environmental impacts.
Coretti holds a BSc in Mechanical Engineering and an MSc in Industrial Technologies, and she is currently a Ph.D. candidate in the City Science group at MIT. Her work has been featured in international media, including the BBC, MarketWatch, and Canal+, and she has been recognized as one of Forbes' 30 Under 30 and MIT Technology Review’s Innovators Under 35 Europe. Her research has also been exhibited at the Museum of Science in Boston and the Guggenheim in Bilbao.
