  1. Who can reserve a room?

The Media Lab’s E14/ E15 event spaces are open for the Media Lab, School of Architecture + Planning, all MIT departments and recognized MIT student groups to host academic- and research-related events. The event must have relevance to MIT’s educational and/or research mission.

The space cannot be rented for personal events such as weddings or corporate off-site meetings.

Non-MIT groups are permitted to rent the space if the space is booked by an MIT sponsor. The MIT sponsor becomes the event host responsible for:

    -- submitting internal work orders
-- serving as point of contact throughout the planning process
-- participating in the event set up, remaining on site during the event, and monitoring the entire event clean up

  2. Can the scheduling staff help find me an MIT sponsor?

No, all external groups are responsible for obtaining their own MIT sponsor.

  3. I am an MIT staff member or faculty member. How do I check room availability and make a reservation?

First review the calendar available at e14e15events.mit.edu and then make a reservation using the available web form on that site.
