Maitane Iruretagoyena is a Project Assistant at the City Science Group. She did her studies in Building Engineering and Technical Architecture with a Master’s degree in Sustainable Construction and Energy Efficiency, all of them at the University of the Basque Country in Spain. And also, she holds a Certificate in Interior Design and has experience in construction.

Within the City Science group, she works on several projects related to researching new technologies to create innovative places where people live and work. Therefore, this project involves making it possible to live large in an apartment smaller than 300 sqft thanks to new and innovative technologies such as robotic architecture.

She has also worked on the CityScope Cooper-Hewitt project. The platform was designed to be exhibited at the Cooper-Hewitt Museum in New York at the exhibition "The road ahead: reimagine mobility". In the platform, two future extremes are shown, in one the shared autonomous mobility and in the other private autonomous mobility.
